Differences in animals
Butterfly is mostly bright coloured and seen during the daytime
Whereas
Moth is dull in colour and usually seen at night.
The main difference between a Tortoise and a Turtle is that a Tortoise lives on land while the Turtle lives in water.
A Tortoise have a dome shaped shell whereas a Turtle has heart shaped shell and it’s legs look like paddles which help it to swim.
Rat and Mouse belong to the same family. The main difference is their length.
The Rat is more than 3 inches long with a tail of equal length while the Mouse is seldom more than 3 inches.
Swan is the largest member of the duck family (Anatidae).
The Swan has white feathers, black legs and orange bill surrounded with a black Knob
whereas Ducks are of many different kinds.
Indian Elephant is smaller than African Elephant.
It has smaller eyes, ears and trunk as compared to African Elephant.
The skin of Indian Elephant is smoother compared to African Elephant.
Hare lives in open fields while Rabbit lives in burrows.
Hare is larger than a Rabbit and has bigger legs and ears.
Hare is generally faster than a rabbit and has black markings on its fur.
Alligator has a longer snout and legs than Crocodile.
The biggest Alligator is not more than 12 feet long.
It is found mainly in the North and South America while the Crocodile is found mainly on the Eastern Shores of India.
Horse is bigger in size than a Donkey.
Horse runs much faster. Donkey is noisier.
Horse is used for carrying man while Donkey is used for carrying loads.
