Respect and Revere Divinity .
Respect and revere Divinity in all beings.
Latin for respect is ‘respectus’, which simply means ‘looking at’. Derived from the word ‘respecio’, where ‘re’ means ‘back’ and ‘specio’ means ‘to see’, it is non-judgemental and signifies plain observation.
Man is not perfect but is a mix of good and bad qualities. We Revere a person for his good qualities and actions and dislike him for any bad quality or action.
Hence reverence is subjective, fragile and tentative without one being aware of the complete facts.
We are prisoners of our EGO. It has left us secluded like an island in relations to others.
We have to penetrate this crust of ego that obscures the real self, to reach our deepest core.
We then come face to face, with the singular Self that pervades all. We realise that at a deeper level, we are all connected.
We perceive others as extensions of ourselves and feel that by hurting others we hurt none but ourselves.
Through this realisation flows absolute and enduring obeisance for unbounded Divinity.
