उत्तर: पानीपत की पहली लड़ाई में बाबर की जीत के लिए कई कारक जिम्मेदार थे। दिल्ली का सुल्तान इब्राहिम लोधी अपने बुरे व्यवहार और अत्याचारों के लिए अपने प्रमुखों और प्रजा के बीच बदनाम था। वे ऐसे शासक से छुटकारा पाना चाहते थे। इब्राहिम लोधी की सेना भी बहुत कमजोर थी।
उसके अधिकांश सैनिक लूटपाट के उद्देश्य से एकत्रित हुए थे। उनके लड़ने के तरीके पुराने थे और उनमें योजना का भी अभाव था। आठ(8) दिनों तक पानीपत में बाबर की सेना पर हमला न करके इब्राहिम लोधी ने एक बहुत बड़ी राजनीतिक गलती की। यदि उसने बाबर को सुरक्षा व्यवस्था मजबूत नहीं करने दी होती तो युद्ध का परिणाम कुछ और होता।
बाबर एक सक्षम सेनापति था। उसे युद्ध का व्यापक अनुभव था। बाबर के द्वारा तोपखाने के प्रयोग से तबाही मच गई। इब्राहीम के सैनिक अपने धनुष और बाणों से उनका मुकाबला नहीं कर सके। इन कारणों से अफगानों की हार हुई और बाबर विजयी हुआ।

Answer : Several factors were responsible for Babur’s victory in the first battle of Panipat. The Sultan of Delhi Ibrahim Lodhi was infamous among his chiefs and people for his bad behavior and atrocities. They wanted to get rid of such a ruler. Ibrahim Lodhi’s army was also very weak.
Most of his soldiers had gathered for the purpose of plundering. Their fighting methods were outdated and they also lacked planning. Ibrahim Lodhi made a big political mistake by not attacking Babur’s army at Panipat for eight (8) days. If he not allowed Babur to strengthen the security system, the outcome of the war would have been different.
Babur was a capable general. He had extensive experience of war. The use of artillery by Babur caused devastation. Abraham’s soldiers could not compete with them with their bow and arrows. Due to these reasons, the Afghans were defeated and Babur emerged victoriously.
